LITTLE Fires Everywhere has only just dropped on Amazon Prime Video but all ready everyone is talking about.
The show is set in a picturesque town in Ohio – but was it filmed there?
Where was Little Fires Everywhere filmed?
The eight-part miniseries tells the story of two separate families living in the town of Shaker Heights, Ohio in 1997.
The cast is headed up by Reese Witherspoon and brings with it some stunning locations.
We take you through where this Amazon Prime Video show was actually filmed.
Filming began for this incredible series in May 2019 and ended in October 2019.
Although the series takes place in Ohio, it was actually filmed in Los Angeles.
Production designer Jessica Kender did go to Ohio to get an idea of what the show needed, then recreated it back in LA.
Mia Warren’s house is actually a property in Pasadena and Elena Richardson’s home in Hancock Park.
Explaining the choices for the houses Jessica told Architectural Digest: “We saw this big beautiful Tudor-esque house built in the 1920s.
“It was in this little pocket on top of a hill with a fountain in the middle.
"Everything about it read very old money, it has this beautifully moneyed perfection type of vibe.”
The series is set in 1997, this meant the interior designs for the sets had to recreate this.
To do this production designers used ‘90s Pottery Barn furniture.
They also modelled the master bedroom at the Richardsons after the styles of Laura Ashley from the same era.
Jessica revealed how they did this: “The ’90s is not a hip decade right now, so finding sources was hard.
"We did a nationwide search on eBay, and we also looked at Craigslist and Calico Corners for fabrics.”
