Prince Andrew refused THREE requests to be quizzed in Jeffrey Epstein probe, victims’ lawyer claims

PRINCE Andrew has refused three requests to be interviewed in Jeffrey Epstein's investigation, a lawyer for the dead paedo's alleged victims has claimed.

David Boies is representing a number of the disgraced financier's alleged victims, including Virginia Roberts.

Ms Roberts, 36, alleges Epstein used her as a sex slave and forced her to sleep with the Duke of York three times in 2001 when she was 17.

Prince Andrew, 60, has always strongly denied the allegations against him.

Mr Boies said he has tried to contact Prince Andrew over the past few months.

He told The Mirror: "We’ve made at least three formal written attempts to his address in London and also to his lawyers in the past few months.”

Mr Boies has also urged the royal to ask himself: “If I avoid extradition, do I really want this hanging over my head and my family’s head for the rest of my life? Do I want my epitaph to be I succeeded in escaping justice?”

Mr Boies added: "Often, people in his position are surrounded by advisers who think they will be more valued if they come across as very aggressive on their principal’s behalf and that can lead to somebody not getting very good advice."

However, pals of the Prince have accused the attorney of acting out of "self-promotion".

One told The Mirror that "no competent legal team" would advise on cooperating with "for-profit civil lawyers".

'THREE FORMAL COMPLAINTS'

They added: "That begs the question as to why these firms continue to pursue the Duke and not Epstein’s estate. The answer is surely self-promotion."

Geoffrey Berman – the US attorney who indicted paedo Epstein last year – has previously said both his office and the FBI had reached out to the under-fire British royal via his lawyers.

In January, he said: "The Southern District of New York and the FBI have contacted Prince Andrew's attorneys and requested to interview Prince Andrew, and to date, Prince Andrew has provided zero cooperation.

"He publicly offered, indeed in a press release, to cooperate with law enforcement investigating the crimes committed by Jeffrey Epstein and his co-conspirators."

In November, Andrew had said he was prepared to assist US officials with investigations into Epstein and his associates.

During the car crash BBC interview that led to him stepping back from public life, he said: “Of course, I am willing to help any appropriate law enforcement agency with their investigations, if required.”

Epstein hanged himself last summer at a jail in Manhattan, where he was awaiting trial on federal sex trafficking and conspiracy charges.

Prosecutors had accused him of sexually exploiting dozens of women and girls in New York and Florida.

Buckingham Palace declined to comment on the claims.

Whipped Strawberry Milk Is Instagram's New Obsession—and It's Even Easier Than Dalgona Coffee

Forget whipped coffee, whipped strawberry milk is the latest beverage to take the internet by storm.

As most people continue to practice social distancing amid the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, many have turned to cooking, baking lots of banana bread, and whipping up just about any pretty treat that will impress their TikTok followers.

For a few weeks, dalgona coffee was everywhere. It's a simple drink made from a blend of instant coffee, sugar, and hot water whipped into a cloud-like froth and served over ice and milk. Not to mention, it's fun to make. Even Lizzo tried (and failed) to make it during her own quarantine.

Now, there's a new—and very pink—option for those looking for a caffeine-free alternative. The best part? It's even easier to make. According to one recipe shared by food influencer Valentina Mussi (@sweetportfolio), all you need is two ingredients: 1tbsp of strawberry Nesquik and 4tbsp (1/4 cup) of heavy whipping cream.

Similar to whipped coffee, this colorful version requires lots of mixing and whipping with either an electric mixer or a mixture by hand. Once it's fluffy, fill your glass with ice and milk before topping it with a few spoonfuls of the cream.

"Mix it until your arm is numb and serve over cold or hot milk," Mussi explains. If you're feeling fancy, you can even dust the rim of your glass with powder and add a fresh strawberry on top. Sounds like the perfect drink to pair with your latest batch perfect chocolate chip cookies…Just saying.

Chick-fil-A won’t be opening its dining rooms even though some states are easing business restrictions in an effort to reopen the economy during the coronavirus pandemic.

On Thursday, the Atlanta-based company posted a statement on its website saying that even though its dining rooms will remain closed the restaurant chain will continue to operate its drive-thru, curbside pick-up and delivery options.

CHICK-FIL-A LAUNCHES MULTIMILLION CORONAVIRUS RELIEF EFFORT

“Safe service is our top priority,” the statement said. “As some states begin to ease restrictions on the closure of local businesses, we are going to take additional time to review our operations and ensure we have necessary precautions in place to protect our Guests and Team Members before we reopen our dining rooms.”

In Georgia, dine-in restaurants will be allowed to open Monday, Nation’s Restaurant News reported on Friday.

Restaurants who do open their dining rooms will have to follow guidelines that include limiting to 10 guests for every 500 square feet of space, requiring employees to wear masks and banning handshakes.

Fans Are Begging Netflix to Renew 'Anne With an E'

It’s not exactly news that Netflix has decided not to move forward with another season of Anne With an E. The streaming service and Canadian network CBC announced in November 2019 that season 3 would be the last for the series inspired by L.M. Montgomery’s novel Anne of Green Gables. But loyal fans are still holding out hope the show might be revived — and they’re pleading their case online.

‘Anne With an E’ was canceled after three seasons

An updated take on Montgomery’s enduringly popular 1908 novel, Anne With an E premiered in 2017, first in Canada on CBC and later on Netflix. The show introduced a new generation of fans to the character Anne Shirley (Amybeth McNulty), a spunky, red-haired orphan sent to live with siblings Marilla and Matthew Cuthbert at Green Gables farm on Prince Edward Island.

The show deviated from the novel and other adaptation by introducing characters of color and other more modern themes, and not everyone loved the twist on the classic story. But others loved the fresh take, and Anne With an E gained a significant and loyal following. So when it was canceled after three seasons, fans were understandably upset.

Fans are trying to bring the show back

Thought Anne With an E has been canceled, the show’s fans aren’t ready to give up on the series. A Change.org petition, “Renew Anne With an E’ for Season 4,’ has more than 265,000 signatures since it was created several months ago. And viewers are continuing to tweet their support for the period drama with the hashtag #renewannewithane.

Many fans seem to be rewatching the show during the coronavirus lockdown, while others are discovering it for the first time.

“Two weeks ago, I knew nothing about Anne with an E but by accident saw few comments on YouTube and Twitter talk about it, so I started watch it,” one new fan tweeted. “Now I am here can’t even stop talking about it.”

“I watched Anne with an E because I had a lot of time during quarantine and I didn’t expect this series to become so important to me. I need more,” read another tweet.

Fans want more of Anne and Gilbert’s story

Season 3 of Anne With an E ended on a high note, with Gilbert (Lucas Jade Zumann) and Anne finally confessing their feelings for each other just before she heads off to Queen’s College. But for some viewers, the long-awaited kiss was nothing more than a tease, since it’s a reminder that they won’t get to see the rest of the couple’s story.

“Soooo you’re telling me that I won’t be able to see Anne and Gilbert getting married in a meadow and have a house in the woods near a river and they have kids and they run in the meadow and play?” one asked.

“I did not wait 3 seasons for Gilbert to look at the ring that is supposed to be for Anne and not even see it on her ring finger,” tweeted another.

In the meantime, fans can continue to voice their support for the show online. They can also petition Netflix directly to bring back the show via its title request form.

Kenny Dalglish: Coronavirus recovery going well for Liverpool legend

Liverpool legend Kenny Dalglish is “starting to get moany so we know he’s getting better”, says Kelly Cates of her dad’s recovery from coronavirus.

Dalglish, 69, tested positive for coronavirus after going to hospital to be treated for an infection last week, but he was discharged on Sunday.

“He’s doing alright,” Cates said while presenting on BBC Radio 5 Live.

“My mum’s got a patio that needs jet washing so we need him up and about as soon as possible.”

She added: “He’s good. He’s not quite up and 100% yet but he’s not too bad at all.”

Former Scotland forward Dalglish won the Scottish league title four times at Celtic before moving to Liverpool in 1977. At Anfield his honours included eight league championships as a player and manager and three European Cups.

He was manager at the time of the Hillsborough disaster in 1989, when 96 Liverpool fans died as a result of a crush at an FA Cup semi-final at Hillsborough.

Dalglish helped ensure the club was represented at all of the fans’ funerals and attended many of them in person. He and the 96 victims were awarded the Freedom of Liverpool in 2016.

He also won the Premier League as Blackburn Rovers manager in 1995.

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp said it was a “shock” when he heard that Dalglish had coronavirus and it was “very good news” when he was discharged from hospital.

Kiely Williams Has Friendly Reunion With Raven-Symone, Talks About Adrienne Bailon Beef

Now that they have squashed their beef, Raven shares a suggestion during an Instagram Live for Kiely to work on her relationship with their other former teammate Adrienne.

AceShowbizKiely Williams and Raven-Symone appeared to be set aside their differences. The former The Cheetah Girls members reunited for a friendly Instagram Live on Thursday, April 9.

The two kicked off by asking how they’re doing latety before they touched their messy history. “I just never felt that way about you. I just never felt like you were that kind of person, you’re not messy,” Kiely told Raven. “I know you called me messy. … I don’t try to be. I promise!”

Raven responded, “It’s okay. You know what, I don’t even have a problem with that. I’ve put myself in places with people that are all kinds of different ways and you have to appreciate them for what it is. Because of you, I get to, like, talk to you and heal a wound from that time when we were younger. I probably wouldn’t get to do it if I didn’t understand that you, you know, you like to shake things up.” Kiely agreed, calling herself a “fire starter.”

Now that they have squashed their beef, Raven suggested Kiely to work on her relationship with their other former teammate Adrienne Bailon. “Why do I have to talk to Adrienne? No, she didn’t come to my dad’s funeral when he died. No,” Kiely firmly rejected the suggestion.

“I’m sorry. I’m not trying to be messy, I’m being for real with you. No. I’m sorry,” she added. “Come on. You can say what you want about me and how you felt me but you can’t ever say that I didn’t ride for Adrienne. … I didn’t do anything!”

Attempting to talk her out of mending her relationship, Raven said, “You didn’t do anything and that’s a horrible thing that happened if she did not show up to your dad’s funeral with such a history. But stuff happens.”

She went on telling Kiely how her best friend didn’t invite her to her wedding despite meeting her husband through her. “But I still talk to her because the history that we have for one another is so thick, she knows a part of you that nobody else knows.”

Kiely didn’t give a definite answer to it, though she shared that she was glad that they talked again.
