The Victims’ Game made its debut on Netflix in April 2020 and the Netflix Original is a Taiwanese series. The debut series revolves around a forensic scientist called Fang Yi-jen (played by Joseph Chang) who has Asperger’s syndrome. Fans were hooked after watching the eight episodes and they are keen to know whether a second season is on the cards.

Will there be another series of The Victims’ Game?

There could potentially be a second series of The Victims’ Game, as there were a few unanswered questions at the end of the first series.

Fans are keen to find out more about the relationship between Fang Yi-Jen and investigative journalist Hsu Hai-yin (Ann Hsu).

As this is a case-solving series, there is plenty of scope for new cases to act as new material for a second season.

Netflix is yet to reveal whether a second series has been given the green light, and the streaming platform will likely make a decision in the coming weeks.

If the series does get the go-ahead, a second season could be released sometime in 2022, as the coronavirus outbreak has halted TV and film production.

Joseph Chang is a Taiwanese actor who is best known for his role in the film Eternal Summer for which he received two Golden Horse Awards nominations.

Is there a trailer for The Victims’ Game season 2?

As a new season is yet to be announced there is sadly no trailer for season two at this moment in time.

Netflix usually drops trailers a month before the show is due to start, so fans will not be able to see a trailer for another year or two.

In the meantime fans can watch the trailer for the first series, which shows a gory murder scene the scientist is investigating.

His colleagues consider him to be “weird” but they later find out about his Asperger’s Syndrome and respect his dedication to his work.

The official synopsis for the series says: “After discovering his estranged daughter’s link to mysterious murders, a forensic detective with Asperger’s syndrome risks everything to solve the case.”

At the end of the series he steps down as forensic detective and takes on a new role as forensic professor.

Fans have already taken to Twitter to show their love for the new series, with one fan saying: “I’m awake because I’ve been watching The Victims’ Game on Netflix and it’s so good. Someone please watch it so I have someone to discuss it with.”

Young Sheldon: Is Laurie Metcalf in Young Sheldon? Who is the mother of young Sheldon?

We will use your email address only for sending you newsletters. Please see our Privacy Notice for details of your data protection rights.

Young Sheldon is now in its third season on CBS and ALL4 and fans are waiting for season 4 to start. The series follows a young Sheldon Cooper (played by Iain Armitage) who grows up to eventually become a talented scientist in Big Bang Theory. Fans are wondering whether Laurie Metcalf features in Young Sheldon, as she took on an important role in Big Bang Theory.

Is Laurie Metcalf in Young Sheldon?

Laurie Metcalf is an American actress who has won a number of Emmy and Tony Awards across her long career.

The 64-year-old actress featured in The Big Bang Theory series between 2007 and 2018, playing the role of Mary Cooper – Sheldon’s (Jim Parsons) mother.

She had a recurring role in the series, featuring in a total of 14 episodes, with her first appearance being in The Luminous Fish Effect.

Although the actress may have appeared in the pilot of Young Sheldon, the younger version of Mary Cooper is played by a different actress.

  • Young Sheldon season 4: Will Iain Armitage carry on as Young Sheldon?

Who plays Sheldon’s mother?

Fans may be interested to hear the actress who plays the younger Mary Cooper – Zoe Perry – is actually the real-life daughter of Metcalf.

Metcalf was nominated for an Emmy Award for her role as Mary in Big Bang Theory, so it was a big pair of shoes for her daughter to fill in Young Sheldon.

In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Perry revealed what it was like auditioning to play the same role her mother played.

She said her mum had persuaded her to try out for the role and she described it as a “surreal” turn of events.

Perry said: “I know the casting directors and they were aware of the parental connection, and [Young Sheldon co-creators] Chuck Lorre and Steve Molaro were as well.

“Chuck was aware that I had become an actor but not of anything I’d done. I went in knowing that I had this odd connection on my side.

“Odd meaning that I am my mother’s daughter and there was a character already established by her.

I knew I had to prove to them that [casting me] would be a good idea and showcase what they were envisioning in this character in a different stage of life.”

As Young Sheldon is a prequel to the parent series, Metcalf stepped back from her original role to let her daughter take over.

All the characters in the series are younger versions of the same characters in The Big Bang Theory – including Sheldon’s dad George (Lance Barber), brother Georgie (Montana Jordan) and sister Missy (Raegan Revord).

Perry said she had been inspired by her mum Metcalf to pursue an acting career, with Metcalf gaining attention across America for her role in the ABC sitcom Roseanne between 1988 and 1997.

Metcalf was awarded a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre degree in 1976 and this is where she met her first husband, Jeff Perry.

The actress has a long list of theatre, film and TV credits including Desperately Seeking Susan, Toy Story, The Conners and Desperate Housewives.

Speaking to WRBL News Perry spoke about whether her character in Young Sheldon was the same as Mary Cooper in Big Bang Theory.

She said: “I definitely have something going for me in the genetics department, where I don’t have to work too hard at the voice or the mannerisms.

“But in terms of inhabiting this Mary Cooper at this age, there is a freedom there because we are being introduced to her at a different stage of life.

“She’s not necessarily the same person with the same colours as she is when you are introduced to her later in The Big Bang Theory. It’s fun to see her at a different stage.”

Fans were shocked when they found out Metcalf and Perry were related, and many have praised both performances.

Metcalf was nominated for a Primetime Emmy Award in 2016 for Outstanding Guest Actress in Big Bang Theory, and the previous year she was nominated for a Critics’ Choice Television Award for the same category.

Although she did not win either award, fans have said it was a shame she did not reprise the role in Young Sheldon as she played it so well.

By the time Metcalf joined Big Bang Theory as an older Mary Cooper, she had become a widow as her husband George Sr, Sheldon’s dad, had died.

By this point she is also a grandmother to Missy’s son, who is unnamed in The Big Bang Theory series.

She is a caring and kind-natured mother who only wants the best for her children, and she sometimes worries Sheldon’s intelligence will lead him into trouble.

Couple left devastated after having wedding date tattooed on their arms – before big day postponed by coronavirus – The Sun

A COUPLE have been left devastated after having their future wedding date tattooed on their arms – before the big day was postponed by coronavirus.

Francis Donald, 26, and Fionnuala Kearney, 24, had been planning the nuptials for October 16th 2020 after getting engaged three years ago.

⚠️ Read our coronavirus live blog for the latest news & updates

But the couple said they were stunned when they realised the pandemic meant they had to postpone the ceremony – and that the wrong date was now commemorated on their skin forever.

Fionnuala, a social worker from Belfast, Ireland, said: "We were in Turkey and had checked out of our hotel at 9am, but had to wait until the evening for our flight home – so we decided to go on a bar crawl.

"We strolled past a tattoo salon and we were tipsy, so thought it was a great idea to get matching tattoos.

"It's funny because we were being extra careful to make sure we got the roman numerals correct, and the staff were teasing us, saying: 'Are you sure that's the right date?'

"Francis and I often make spur of the moment decisions – we're quite spontaneous – so we decided to go for it and get matching tattoos.

"When I was told we would have to postpone the wedding I was devastated of course – but we only realised afterwards about our tattoos.

"If you don't laugh, you'll cry!"

The couple had first met while studying at Ulster University in 2015 before getting engaged in 2017.

TAT-TRUE LOVE

Recounting the romantic proposal, Fionnuala said Francis had elaborately planned the day while they were on a romantic getaway in Inch Island, in County Donegal, Ireland for New Year 2017.

She said: "Francis knows how much I love Beauty and the Beast, and the lodge looked like something straight out of the film.

"We spent an amazing few days wandering around Inch Island, and on New Year's Eve we walked around and watched the fireworks.

"Little did I know, Francis had been making plans with the owners of the lodge – I walked through the door to find it transformed.

"It had been set up like a scene from Beauty and the Beast – complete with the rose in the glass case.

"Then, Francis asked me to marry him."

And while eager to tie the knot, the couple said they decided to wait to get hitched in October 2020 as Fionnuala was starting her master's degree in September 2018.

It's funny because we were being extra careful to make sure we got the roman numerals correct

The excited bride even bought her dress in September 2018, with the couple then booking their band and sending out invites.

But as the deadly bug continued to spread across the UK, Fionnuala decided to contact the wedding venue to find out what was going to happen to their big day.

She said: "We were supposed to have our six month review before the wedding, to make sure that everything was going to plan.

"Of course, I had considered the virus and the effects it might have, but with our wedding being quite far away in October, I didn't think we would be affected."

They eventually settled on a new date of April 22 next year and are brain storming ideas of how to make the date marked in their tattoos memorable.

Fionnuala said: "Somebody suggested that we do a skydive, other people have said we should lie and tell people the tattoos say the right date.

"I love the skydive idea.

"Whatever we do, we're going to make it memorable."

Control Z season 2 Netflix release date: Will there be another series?

We will use your email address only for sending you newsletters. Please see our Privacy Notice for details of your data protection rights.

Control Z is the latest teen drama to hit Netflix and the series is set at a high school in Mexico. Fans were on the edge of their seats wondering if the students will get to the bottom of the hacking scam which is ruining their lives. Here is everything you need to know about the potential season 2, including the release date, cast, trailer and plot.

WARNING: This story contains spoilers for Control Z

When is Control Z season 2 out?

As the thrilling series has only just made its debut on Netflix, it is too early to say whether a second series will be commissioned.

The streaming platform usually waits a couple of months after the release date to find out how successfully the first series has performed.

With this in mind, fans may expect to hear news of a potential season 2 later this summer, and they have their fingers crossed.

If a second season gets the green light, it will most likely air in the summer of 2021, however, due to the coronavirus outbreak halting production it may arrive a little later in the year.

Netflix tends to give an official release date in the few weeks leading up to the new series, so fans may be waiting a while for a significant update.

Who will be in the cast of Control Z season 2?

Some of the main characters will sadly be missing from the new series, however, they may appear in flashbacks.

The first season ended with Sofía’s (played by Ana Valeria Becerril) love interest Javier (Michael Ronda) being shot by accident, so his fate hangs in the balance.

Fans were also emotional when they heard fellow student Luis (Luis Curiel) had died after being in a coma, and they are wondering whether he may appear in hindsight.

Main character Sofía is likely to return alongside Raúl (Yankel Stevans), Isabela (Zión Moreno), Natalia (Macarena García) and Pablo (Andrés Baida).

Fans have already fallen in love with the cast and have been calling for a season two on social media.

Is there a trailer for Control Z season 2?

Sadly as a second season has not yet been given the go-ahead, fans are not likely to see a trailer for a long time.

The trailer will drop within a few weeks of the official release date, so a new trailer will not appear until the summer of 2021.

Netflix tends to drop short teasers for new series, so fans may be able to catch a glimpse of what is to come in a potential season two earlier on.

The trailer for the first season shows Sofía walking through her high school – El Colegio Nacional – and she introduces the main characters.

The students are watching a presentation when the screen changes to show private images of one of the students, Isabela.

Sofía and Javier take it upon themselves to find out who is making everyone’s lives a misery.

The main question of the series has already been answered as everyone was dying to know who the school hacker was.

The series ends with the students finding out it was Raúl, one of the richest students at the school, who is the mastermind behind the All Your Secrets scam.

Fans will be wondering what happens to Raúl now he has been caught out, and they are keen to know what will happen to victims of the scam, like Javier, who was shot.

A second series could explore Raúl’s motives and what lead him to become the hacker, and it could also address the relationship between Javier and Sofía.

Fans are waiting to find out what happens to Maria (Fiona Palomo) and Pablo after Maria discovered she was expecting a baby.

Christine McGuinness reveals her three autistic children have gone back to school ‘for the routine’ – The Sun

CHRISTINE McGuinness has revealed her three autistic children have returned to their school to give them "some normality".

The 32-year-old previously said the unprecedented lockdown has been tough for her children to understand and has even "set them back two years" after disrupting their daily routine.

Taking to Instagram yesterday, she shared a positive update with her followers.

She wrote: "Mums famous quote 'I'm fine'.

"It's a mixture of emotions the children visiting school is some normality but it's also so different. I feel happy, sad, anxious, excited!

"But ultimately.. I'm a very proud mummy! My little trio have been total superstars."

Earlier this month Christine said that she is closer to her husband Paddy McGuinness than ever after sharing chores 50/50 during lockdown.

The couple who share six-year-old twins Leo and Penelope, and three-year-old Felicity are busy being full-time carers for the trio who all have autism.

Talking about lockdown life with Paddy while appearing on Loose Women, Christine said: "It’s been really strange because I thought we’d have hated this.

"If you’d have told me a few months ago, I’d have said ‘Absolutely not, you cannot put me in lockdown with him!'

"I would have thought we would have hated it, but we are getting on so well.

"I think it’s because this is the first time we are doing everything 50/50.

"The things we used to bicker about was mainly how much he would be away from home or if I wanted to work and couldn’t because he was away, it was like little things whereas now we’re both stay-at-home parents.

"We’re both doing the same amount of cooking, cleaning, childcare, bedtimes, so there’s nothing really to argue about. But don’t get me wrong, I want him to go back to work!”

Back in February, Christine revealed she has "no time" to be a couple with her husband after becoming full-time carers to their children.

During her recent Loose Women chat, Christine also revealed her "heart's breaking" for her children as they're finding lockdown "really difficult".

The glam mum discussed parenting in isolation and admitted she felt it had set her kids back about two years.

She explained: "This is huge, this is massive, it's probably the biggest change any of us are going to experience. It's affecting all three of my children and therefore us as a family.

"It's heartbreaking to see what it's doing to them but as a parent, as a mum as a carer. All I can do is be there for them, love them, help them, support them as any mum would.

"They struggle with their speech, their communication, their eye contact, their food, their sensory awareness, and all of the things they've struggled with that we've spent years and years trying to help them with, now it feels we've gone back two years

"It's really quite upsetting and difficult."

Last month Christine told how the children had "barely eaten" for more than three weeks due to the impact of the coronavirus pandemic on their routines.

She told her Instagram following how she missed McDonald's being open as it she could always rely on her kids to eat it.

She explained: "The one meal all three of my children would eat @mcdonalds we miss you!

"I never thought I would wish for fast food for my children but as I expected the changes have affected them and two of my children are barely eating, it’s been like this for over three weeks now.

"This is not ‘fussy eaters’ this is down to struggling with change, massive change in their little lives. I know we are not alone, I’ve had so many messages about McDs! 😁 #AutismAwareness ❤️ If you know, you know..

"McDs is a ‘safe’ food, it always looks the same, it tastes the same, the texture and smell is always the same.. and it’s beige and dry! sending love if you are in the same situation right now!"

In March Christine begged supermarket stockpilers to think of her autistic children in an emotional appeal.

Taking to her Instagram page, the beauty shared a drawing of a heart balloon with "be kind" written in the string.

Christine captioned the post: "When you are emptying the shelves at your supermarket please bear in mind that you are emptying the tummies of our vulnerable, including my own children. ⠀

"Many children and adults with autism have a very restricted diet, the variation of food they eat is quite often extremely limited.⠀

"Some people with autism and other conditions that include sensory food aversions will go hungry from your greed. ⠀

"The supermarkets have stated that there is enough food, you DO NOT need to empty the shelves putting our vulnerable at risk of further health conditions."

She added the hashtags: "#BeKind #Autism #AutismAwareness #Sensory #LimitedFood #ThinkOfOthers".

Christine was inundated with support from her followers, with many sharing their own difficult experiences in the shops.

The Walking Dead: Killed off star says it ‘would’ve made sense’ to live on in FTWD

With more deaths inevitably on the way in the delayed season 10 finale on AMC, The Walking Dead fans are currently gearing up for which surprises lies ahead between Beta (played by Ryan Hurst) and the likes of Daryl (Norman Reedus) and Negan (Jeffrey Dean Morgan). However, fans will be all too familiar with the group worming their way out of imminent danger before, none more so than when it came to taking on the Saviors a few seasons ago. One man who wasn’t so lucky to survive, however, was Hilltop fighter Tobin (Jason Douglas).

Under the orders of Hilltop leader Maggie (Lauren Cohan), the community readied itself from an attack by the Saviours in season eight, episode 13.

The episode, titled Do Not Send Us Away, saw Hilltop come under heavy fire as Negan’s deputy Simon (Steven Ogg) closed in with his army.

However, the group were well-equipped to deal with the attack, setting up traps for the Saviors to walk into, forcing them to retreat.

The TWD battle wasn’t without its fair share of casualties, however, and sadly for everyone, especially Carol (Melissa McBride), Tobin was stabbed by one of the enemy soldiers.

Tobin bowed out of the AMC series after four seasons on the show, having first appeared back in season five.

After he was stabbed, he quickly turned into a Walker and had to be killed by Carol, ruling out any form of a possible return to the show.

However, actor Jason has no spoken out about Tobin’s death and admitted he was left rather “envious” of his co-stars who were able to star in spin-off series, Fear the Walking Dead.

Speaking to Fandom Spotlite, the actor revealed he’d been drawn to “Texas-based” projects in recent times, which prompted the interviewer to reply: “It’s a shame your character in Walking Dead died because it would actually make sense for you to be with the Texas group in Fear [The Walking Dead]…”

The former TWD star agreed: “It would make so much sense!

“I would love for that to have happened.

“I’m so… I’m envious in a good way, don’t misunderstand me,

“But when I think about Austin Amelio [Dwight], he’s a Texas guy, he’s literally from Austin! Austin from Austin.”

He continued: “So you know he’s going home at night, he’s sleeping in his own bed and seeing his kids in the morning before he goes to set, how amazing is that?

“So yeah, I missed that one by a season or two I guess.”

Nevertheless, Jason added he still bears no hard feelings about bowing out of the series.

The TWD star concluded: “I had a good run, I can’t complain. I was in 25 episodes on The Walking Dead!”

Bad Boys Spin-Off TV Show Is Happening On Fox

This year’s action sequel Bad Boys For Life was a big hit, and it showed that there was still plenty of interest in the action franchise, which stars Will Smith and Martin Lawrence. It might have been the first Bad Boys movie in 17 years, but a spin-off show quietly premiered back in May last year. Titled LA’s Finest, it focuses on Detective Syd Burnett, the character played by Gabrielle Union who appeared in 2003’s Bay Boys II. Season 1 of the series screened on the on-demand channel Spectrum, and it will make its network TV debut this fall.

As reported by TV Guide, LA’s Finest Season 1 will be part of Fox’s fall line-up. With the COVID-19 pandemic causing TV production to be suspended throughout Hollywood, networks are relying on already-finished shows to fill out their schedules. Season 1 will air on Fox on Monday nights. In addition, Season 2 of LA’s Finest is also set to premiere on Spectrum in June, and has been bought by Fox for a future broadcast.

The series also stars Jessica Alba as Nancy McKenna, a detective who teams up with Burnett to take on LA’s most dangerous criminals. The LA’s Finest pilot was originally made for NBC, but when the network passed on it in 2018, Spectrum picked the show up for full season.

Bad Boys For Life stands as the most successful movie of 2020 so far, making $419 million at the worldwide box office. However, there have been very few other big releases since it hit theaters at the end of January, and with theaters closed, it was rush-released to home entertainment platforms in April. Check out GameSpot’s Bad Boys For Life review, and this look at how the movie pulled off one of its wildest stunts.
